Pharmacological action
The therapeutic effect of Acipol is determined by the live acidophilic lactobacilli and kefir polysaccharide contained in it.
According to the mechanism of action, Acipol is a multifactorial therapeutic agent, has antagonistic activity against pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic microorganisms, has a corrective effect on the intestinal microflora, and increases the immunological reactivity of the body.
Acipol is prescribed for the prevention and treatment of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, in children from 3 months of age and adults in combination with traditional treatment.
Indications
Dysbacteriosis and conditions leading to its development:
acute intestinal infections (dysentery, salmonellosis, rotavirus gastroenteritis, etc.)
chronic colitis, enterocolitis of infectious and non-infectious origin
long-term antibiotic therapy.
Dysbacteriosis and weight loss associated with:
active antibiotic therapy of purulent-septic diseases in infants

Dosage and administration
Inside, without chewing, washed down with boiled water.
The size of the daily dose and duration of treatment of patients is determined by the doctor, depending on the age, severity and duration of the disease and the severity of dysbiosis.
For children from 3 months to 3 years - 1 capsule 2-3 times a day, with food, after opening the capsule and dissolving its contents in milk or boiled water for adults and children over 3 years old - 1 capsule 3-4 times a day 30 minutes before eating.
In acute intestinal infections, the duration of treatment is 5–8 days.
Longer courses of treatment are prescribed for children with underweight, caused by the chronic course of the disease, accompanied by dysbiosis.
For prophylactic purposes - 1 capsule 1 time per day for 10-15 days.
Repeated courses are conducted no earlier than 1 month after the end of the previous one.
