Indications

Karipazim is used for burns of the III degree as a means to accelerate the rejection of scabs and cleanse granulating wounds from the remains of purulent-necrotic tissues.

Contraindications

- pregnancy, lactation

- increased individual sensitivity to the drug.

Special instructions

The drug Karipazim does not adversely affect the ability to drive a car and operate machinery.

Composition of

Active ingredients:

papain,

chymopapain A,

chymopapain B,

peptidase A,

peptidase B,

lysozine.

Dosage and administration

Karipazim is applied topically in the form of 0.5%, 1% or 2% solutions, depending on the thickness of the scab.

Solutions prepare ex tempore at 0, 5% novocaine solution or isotonic sodium chloride solution.

A cloth moistened with the drug is applied to the burn surface, covered with a waterproof dressing.

At the same time no more than 30% of the total surface of the body is treated.

The dressing is changed 1 time per day or 1 time in 2 days, while removing exfoliated necrotic tissue.

The course of treatment is from 4 to 12 days.
