Pharmacological action

The drug has an expectorant, anti-inflammatory, secretolytic, bronchodilator effect, helps to reduce the viscosity of sputum and accelerate its evacuation.

Indications

As an expectorant in the treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, accompanied by cough and sputum formation (tracheitis, tracheobronchitis, bronchitis).

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug (including primrose and thyme, as well as to other plants of the genus primrose and / or the caudate family)

diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (in the acute stage)

lactose intolerance, lactose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption (due to the content of lactose monohydrate and dextrose syrup in the preparation)

children under 12 years of age due to lack of clinical data.

Dosage and administration

Inside, swallow, without chewing, with a little water.

Adults and children 12 years of age and 1 tablet 3 times a day before meals.

Side effects

Allergic reactions due to hypersensitivity to the components of the drug: for example, shortness of breath, skin rashes, urticaria, swelling of the face, the oral cavity and / or pharynx.

From the gastrointestinal tract: in rare cases - nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, spastic pain.

Drug Interactions

Bronchipret® TP Tablets should not be used concomitantly with antitussive drugs, as well as medicines that reduce sputum production, as this makes it difficult to clear the liquefied phlegm.

Combination with antibacterial drugs is possible.

Overdose

Symptoms: overdosage may cause stomach, vomiting, diarrhea pain.

Treatment: symptomatic treatment should be performed in case of overdose.
