Pharmacological action
Vitalipid N - a means for parenteral nutrition.
Indications
VITALIPID H adult is used for parenteral nutrition as an additive that provides the daily need for fat-soluble vitamins A, D2, E, K1 in adults and children over 11 years of age.
Contraindications
VITALIPID H An adult should be used with caution in diseases occurring with impaired fat metabolism, such as renal failure, decompensated diabetes mellitus, pancreatitis, impaired liver function, hypothyroidism (if hypertriglyceridemia is noted) and sepsis. In such patients, if Vitalipide is used, it is necessary to carefully control the level of triglycerides in the serum.
Composition
1 ml emulsion contains: Retinol palmitate respectively. retinol 99 mcg Calciferol 0.5 mcg Alfatocoferol 0.91 mg Phytomenadion 15 mcg Refined soybean oil 100 mg Refined egg phospholipids 12 mg Anhydrous glycerin 22 mg Water for injection up to 1 ml Sodium hydroxide pH approx. 8
Dosage and administration of

Adult patients and children over 11 years of age are prescribed: 1 hour before the start of infusion under aseptic conditions, one ampoule (10 ml) of Vitalipid H is added to an adult 500 ml of Intralipid 10% and 20%. The resulting solution was stirred with gentle swaying, then used for parenteral infusion in accordance with the instructions for use of Intralipid. The resulting solution must be used within 24 hours.
Vitalipid H Adult can be used to dilute Soluvit N (covers the daily requirement for water-soluble vitamins). 10 ml of Vitalipid H adult is sterilely added to the ampoule with Soluvit N, then the resulting solution is sterilely transferred to the vial with Intralipid.
Side effects
On the background of Vitalipid H infusion in an adult, all adverse reactions characteristic of Intralipid may occur.
Drug Interactions
For adults, only those drugs with which compatibility is not in doubt can be added to Vitalipid H Adult. The following solutions are recommended:
1. Intralipid
2. Soluvit N
Mixing solutions should be carried out under aseptic conditions.
Storage conditions
Store at a temperature not exceeding 25 РC. Do not freeze. Keep out of the reach of children.
