Closing the eye after surgery (secondary dressing) Made of soft, breathable non-woven fabric
Contraindications: individual intolerance.
Before use, you must read the instructions or consult a specialist.
- Before starting therapy with occluders, a specialist consultation is required.
- It is advisable to carry out the procedure for sticking the occluder in a comfortable room and in a calm atmosphere, having previously explained your actions to the baby, thereby calming him down.
- We recommend sticking the occluder on dry, clean skin.
To prepare the skin, rinse the area around the eye with warm water and pat dry with a clean dry towel.
Let the remaining moisture evaporate for 1-2 minutes.
- Ask your baby to close both eyes and sit quietly, relaxing the muscles of the face.
Remove the paper backing from the occluder before sticking.
Do not stretch the patch or pull the skin on your face.
For longer wearing, we recommend strengthening the fixation by smoothing movements around the perimeter of the occluder.
- Removing the occluder.
The correct technique for removing the occluder will help preserve the integrity of the skin.
When removing the occluder, gently hook its edge at the inner corner of the eye and with a smooth, slow motion parallel to the skin surface, remove the occluder, “wrap” it towards the outer corner of the eye.
Important!
Do not pull the occluder up sharply - this movement provokes possible damage to the skin and causes discomfort for the baby.
- The plaster should, if possible, be removed in the direction of hair growth.
Hold the patch close to the skin surface as you pull it back, and hold the skin next to the strip to be removed.
- When removing the patch, it is recommended to use baby cream on the areas where the patch has already been removed.
This will make it easier to remove the patch by softening the adhesive with the cream.
