Pharmacological action

Horse tetanus tetanus purified concentrated liquid has a detoxifying effect. It neutralizes tetanus toxins.

Indications

Tetanus (treatment and emergency prevention).

Contraindications

There are no contraindications for therapeutic use.

For use with emergency prevention: hypersensitivity, pregnancy.

Special instructions

Before administration of serum, anti-shock therapy agents must be prepared. The drug is not suitable for use in ampoules with a broken integrity or lack of labeling, with a change in physical properties (color, transparency, presence of unbreakable flakes), with an expired Expiration, improper storage.

Composition of

1 ampoule contains: one prophylactic dose (3000 IU) of tetanus antitoxin activity

Dosage and administration of

Serum is administered intravenously into the spinal canal (as early as possible from the onset of the disease) at a dose of 10,000-20,000 IU. Subcutaneously (for emergency prevention) at a dose of 3000 IU.

Side effects

Allergic reactions: fever, itching, rash, arthralgia, anaphylactic shock.

Storage conditions

In a dry, dark place at a temperature of 2–8 РC.
