There are experimental and clinical data on the antitoxic and antioxidant effects of burdock root. In addition, burdock root has a diuretic, antipyretic, anti-inflammatory and bactericidal effect, stimulates metabolism, and increases the glycogen content in the liver. It has a choleretic effect, enhancing the antitoxic function of the liver. The experiment established the antiulcer activity of the burdock root extract, which is not inferior, and in some cases superior to the effect of plantaglucide and befungin. Burdock roots contain a small amount of alkaloids that have an antitumor effect. Burdock root extract improves blood and urine composition in patients with gout while improving their clinical status. In the form of rinsing, lotions and rubbing, it is prescribed for inflammatory processes of the oral mucosa,eczema, seborrhea, acne.

rheumatism, gout, obesity, atherosclerosis, initial forms of diabetes mellitus

skin diseases (furunculosis, eczema, allergic dermatoses)

purulent wounds, burns of varying degrees

infectious diseases accompanied by fever (as an antipyretic agent)

in the complex therapy of oncological diseases.

Recommendations for use

Mode of application.

Adults take 1/2 teaspoon (1 scoop or 2.0 g) 3 times a day before meals, previously dissolved in 100 ml of water.

The tannin content of 6 g corresponds to 60% of the recommended daily intake.

Duration of admission is 3-4 weeks.

Possible use in a different dosage:

with intoxication of various origins - 1/2 tsp.

burdock root extract, dissolve in 1 glass of warm water, take 3 times a day

to reduce the manifestations of the hangover syndrome - 1/2 tsp.

burdock root extract, dissolve in 1/2 glass of water, one hour before drinking alcohol

with furunculosis, eczema, allergic dermatitis - inside 1/2 tsp.

extract, dissolve in 1 glass of water

1/2 cup 3 times a day in combination with warm lotions or compresses from the same solution

for infectious diseases accompanied by fever - 1/2 tsp.

Dissolve the extract in 1 glass of water, add 2-3 tablespoons of honey, take 1/2 cup 3 times a day

with gout, urolithiasis - 1/2 tsp.
