MoistureSeal technology allows you to create a hydrophilic silicone-hydrogel material: polymerization of the silicone and hydrogel components are separated in phases, so that all the free space in the silicone matrix is filled with a moisturizing component - polyvinylpyrrolidone.
As a result, the lens has a high content of moisturizing components that impart hydrophilic properties to the material.
This technology allows to increase the oxygen permeability of the material (Dk / t = 163), to ensure a high moisture content and its retention in the lens structure.
Bausch + Lomb ULTRA retains 95% moisture even after 16 hours of wear.
