Depending on the indications and the clinical situation, a single dose of 1-5 mg, the frequency of use - 1-4 times / day. The course of treatment is set individually.

pharmachologic effect

Synthetic hexapeptide, analogue of leucine-enkephalin. Suppresses proteolysis and promotes healing of stomach and duodenal ulcers. It has a moderate antisecretory activity, reduces the acidity of gastric juice. Suppresses the external secretion of the pancreas in response to various stimuli (including food, secretin). In case of damage to the pancreas, the drug reduces hyperenzymemia, limits foci of necrosis and promotes their replacement with full-fledged tissue, weakens the synthesis of proteolytic enzymes by the pancreas. Has a slight hypotensive effect.

Side effect

Possibly: lowering blood pressure, allergic reactions.

Application during pregnancy and lactation

Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is contraindicated.

Drug interactions

Enhances the action of opioid analgesics. Naloxone blocks the antiulcer effect of this drug.
