Description

Differin® is a drug for the treatment of comedonal acne (acne) and maintenance therapy for acne

The active substance (adapalene 0.1%) has:

Comedolytic action

Differin® is not an antibiotic and does not cause antibacterial resistance, therefore it can be used for long courses

Differin® can be used to treat acne both in monotherapy and in combination with other local or systemic drugs (antibiotics, oral antiandrogens)

The drug Differin® is applied in a thin layer to the affected areas of the skin once a day before going to bed on clean, dry skin, avoiding the contact of the gel in the eyes and lips.

The therapeutic effect develops after 4-8 weeks of therapy, persistent improvement after 3 months of treatment.

During the period of use of the drug, active exposure to the sun and UV radiation should be avoided (UV radiation is not recommended for epidermis regeneration)

Differin® cream is suitable for sensitive, dry skin, and Differin® gel is suitable for oily skin2

Structure

1 gram of gel contains: Active ingredient: Adapalene - 1.0 mg.

Excipients: propylene glycol - 40.0 mg, methyl parahydroxybenzoate - 1.0 mg, phenoxyethanol - 2.5 mg, carbomer 940P - 11.0 mg, disodium edetate - 1.0 mg, poloxamer 182 - 2.0 mg, sodium hydroxide - up to pH 5.0 ± 0.15, purified water - up to 1 g.
