Pharmacological action

Echinacea-VILAR has an immunomodulatory effect. It stimulates antibody formation, increases the proliferative activity of lymphocytes, stimulates the functional activity of phagocytic cells. Echinacea-VILAR has anti-inflammatory and capillaroprotective effects. It primarily activates cellular immunity, stimulates the phagocytic activity of macrophages and chemotaxis of granulocytes, promotes the release of cytokines, increases the production of interleukin by macrophages, accelerates the transformation of B-lymphocytes into plasma cells. Increases nonspecific resistance of the body, including influenza and herpes viruses.

Indications

Echinacea-VILAR is used in adults and children from 12 years of age as an immunostimulating agent to enhance a nonspecific immune response in frequently repeated acute inflammatory processes or exacerbations of chronic diseases, as well as in diseases accompanied by a decrease in the body's immune status.

Contraindications

Progressive systemic diseases (tuberculosis, leukemia, collagenosis, multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV infection, etc.),

bronchial asthma,

autoimmune diseases,

individual intolerance to the components of the drug.

Use during pregnancy and lactation

Echinacea-VILAR should not be used during pregnancy and during lactation.

Composition

Dosage and administration

Echinacea-VILAR is prescribed orally after a meal with a small amount of water. In the acute period of the disease (the first 3-5 days) - 30-40 drops per reception 3-4 times a day, then - 20-30 drops per reception up to 3-4 times a day for 2 weeks. The maximum single dose is 60 drops (3 ml), the maximum daily dose is 240 drops (12 ml). The duration of treatment is determined by the condition of the patient and, if necessary, the course can be extended to 1-1.5 months. During pregnancy, the drug should be used only in consultation with the attending physician.

Side effects

Allergic reactions.

Drug Interaction

Can be used concurrently with antibiotics and other antimicrobials. Do not take the drug for 3 days after treatment with cephalosporins. The drug is incompatible with immunosuppressants.

Storage conditions

The product should be stored out of the reach of children at a temperature not exceeding 25 РC.
