Dosage form

Hard gelatin capsules from light brown to dark brown.

The contents of the capsules are powder or partially caked powder from yellow to light brown with whitish and dark blotches.

Composition (per capsule):

Active ingredient: ginkgo biloba dry extract with a total flavonoid content in terms of rutin 27.0% and terpene lactones 5.0% - 0.040 g.

Auxiliary components: microcrystalline cellulose, calcium stearate, hard gelatin capsules (components of the capsule body: iron oxide black E 172, iron oxide red E 172, titanium dioxide E 171, iron oxide yellow E 172, gelatin capsule lid components: iron oxide black E 172, iron oxide red E 172, titanium dioxide E 171, iron oxide yellow E 172, gelatin).

Pharmacodynamics

Improves cerebral circulation and the supply of oxygen and glucose to the brain.

It has a vasoregulatory effect mainly on the vessels of the brain.

Improves blood flow, prevents platelet aggregation.

Prevents the formation of free radicals.

Side effects

Allergic reactions (redness, skin swelling, itching), dyspepsia, headache, decreased blood clotting, hearing impairment, dizziness are possible.

For the symptomatic treatment of disorders of cerebral circulation:

1-2 capsules (respectively 40-80 mg of standardized dry extract of ginkgo biloba) 3 times a day.

The duration of the course of treatment is at least 8 weeks.

In case of peripheral circulatory disorders:

1 capsule (respectively 40 mg of standardized dry extract of ginkgo biloba) 3 times a day or 2 capsules (respectively 80 mg of standardized dry extract of ginkgo biloba) 2 times a day.

The duration of the course of treatment is at least 6 weeks.

For vascular or involutional pathology of the inner ear:

1 capsule (respectively 40 mg of standardized dry extract of ginkgo biloba) 3 times a day or 2 capsules (respectively 80 mg of standardized dry extract of ginkgo biloba) 2 times a day.

The capsules should be taken with a small amount of liquid, with or without food.

If the drug was missed or an insufficient amount was taken, the subsequent administration should be carried out as indicated in this instruction without any changes.

Overdose

Cases of drug overdose have not been reported to date.
