Grippferon drops, 10ml

Prevention and treatment of influenza and ARVI in children and adults.

Intranasally.

At the first signs of the disease, GrippferonЃ is used for 5 days:

- under the age of 1 year - 1 drop / dose (500 ME) in each nasal passage 5 times a day (single dose - 1000 ME, daily dose - 5000 ME);

- at the age of 1 to 3 years - 2 drops / dose in each nasal passage 3-4 times a day (single dose - 2000 ME, daily dose - 6000-8000 ME);

- at the age of 3 to 14 years - 2 drops / dose in each nasal passage 4Ц5 times a day (single dose - 2000 ME, daily dose - 8000Ц10000 ME);

- from 15 years old and adults - 3 drops / dose in each nasal passage 5-6 times a day (single dose - 3000 ME, daily dose - 15000-18000 ME).

In order to prevent ARVI and influenza:

- upon contact with a patient and / or hypothermia, the drug is instilled / injected at a single age dosage 2 times a day;

- with a seasonal increase in morbidity, the drug is instilled / injected at an age-specific dosage once in the morning with an interval of 24Ц48 hours;

- if necessary, prophylactic courses are repeated.

Drops. After each instillation, it is recommended to massage the wings of the nose with your fingers for several minutes to evenly distribute the drug in the nasal cavity.

Spray. To inject the drug, remove the protective cap, insert the spray device into the nasal passage and press the spray mechanism strongly (1 dose - 1 press). Before the first use, press the spray mechanism several times until a cloud of spray appears.

Nasal drops

active substance:

interferon alpha-2b human recombinant not less than 10000 IU / ml

excipients: disodium edetate dihydrate - 0.5 mg; sodium chloride - 4.1 mg; sodium hydrogen phosphate dodecahydrate - 11.94 mg; potassium dihydrogen phosphate - 4.54 mg; povidone 8000 - 10 mg; macrogol 4000 - 100 mg; purified water - up to 1 ml

-Individual intolerance to interferon preparations and components that make up the drug;

- severe forms of allergic diseases.

pharmachologic effect

Remedy for topical use. It has immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory and antiviral effects.

Side effect

Possibly: allergic reactions.

Application during pregnancy and lactation

Allowed for use throughout the entire period of pregnancy in accordance with the age dose.

It has no restrictions for use during lactation.

Application in children

Applied to children according to indications in accordance with the dosage regimen.

Drug interactions

The use of intranasal vasoconstrictor drugs in conjunction with this drug is not recommended, because this contributes to additional drying of the nasal mucosa.
