GEPABENEЃ-capsules are used in the following cases:
as part of the complex therapy of biliary dyskinesias (including after cholecystectomy);
as part of complex therapy for chronic hepatitis;
as part of complex therapy for chronic toxic liver damage.
GEPABENEЃ capsules are taken orally during meals, without chewing, with a small amount of water.
For adults, the drug is usually prescribed 1 capsule 3 times a day. With nocturnal pain syndrome, it is recommended to additionally take another 1 capsule before bedtime.
If necessary, the daily dose of GEPABENEЃ can be increased to 6 capsules (maximum daily dose) at 3-4 doses per day.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:
During treatment with GEPABENEЃ-capsules, patients must strictly observe the regimen prescribed by the attending physician, diet, other medications, and refrain from drinking alcohol.

smoke of medicinal herb dry extract - 275.1 mg (corresponding to 4.13 mg of the amount of fumaric alkaloids in terms of protopin)
milk thistle fruit dry extract - 83.1 mg (corresponding to 50 mg of silymarin, including at least 22 mg of silybin)

Description:
Light brown hard gelatin capsules containing an orange-brown powder.
Pharmacotherapeutic group:
hepatoprotective agent.
Pharmachologic effect:
GEPABENEЃ is a combined herbal preparation containing an extract of medicinal smoke and dry extract of milk thistle.
The extract of the medicinal smoke, containing the alkaloid fumarin, normalizes the amount of secreted bile, relieves spasm of the gallbladder and bile ducts, facilitating the flow of bile into the intestines.
Milk thistle fruit extract contains silymarin, which has a hepatoprotective effect in acute and chronic intoxications, binds free radicals and toxic substances in the liver tissue, has antioxidant and membrane-stabilizing activity, stimulates protein synthesis, and promotes the restoration of liver cells.
GEPABENEЃ normalizes liver function in various acute and chronic pathological conditions.
Indications for use:
GEPABENEЃ-capsules are used in the following cases:

Contraindications:

APPLICATION DURING PREGNANCY AND DURING BREASTFEEDING:
Despite the lack of data on the adverse effects of GEPABENEЃ capsules on the fetus or newborn, the appointment of this drug during pregnancy and during lactation is carried out only under strict indications and under the close supervision of the attending physician.
