Indications

Acute and chronic sinusitis, accompanied by the formation of a viscous secretion.

Contraindications

- Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug

- alcoholism

- children's age (up to 2 years)

- patients should not take the drug after successful anti-alcohol treatment.

Precautions: liver disease, epilepsy, diseases and brain injuries (use is possible only after consulting a doctor).

Use during pregnancy and lactation

The use of SinupretВ® during pregnancy is possible only as directed by a doctor, taking SinupretВ® drops, due to the alcohol content, should only be possible if SinupretВ® tablets are not possible.

The drug is not recommended for use during lactation (due to lack of experience in its clinical use).

Composition

100 g drops of Sinupret® contain 29 g of an aqueous-alcoholic extract from a mixture of the following types of medicinal plant materials:

Active ingredients:

gentian root (Gentiana lutea) 0.2 g,

primrose flowers (Primula veris) 0.6 g,

sorrel grass (Rumex acetosa) 0.6 g,

elderberry flowers (Sambucus nigra) 0.6 g,

verbena grass (Verbena officinalis) 0.6 g.

Ethanol content: 16.0 - 19.0% (%).

Excipients:

purified water 71.0 g

Dosage and administration

Inside, previously diluted in a small amount of water.

- Adults: 50 drops 3 times a day.

- School children: 25 drops 3 times a day.

- For children from 2 to 6 years: 15 drops 3 times a day.

The course of treatment is 7-14 days. If symptoms persist for more than 7-14 days or are repeated periodically, then consult a doctor.

Side effects

Possible: allergic reactions (skin rash, redness, itching, angioedema, shortness of breath).

In very rare cases, it is possible: the appearance of pain in the upper abdomen, nausea.

If side effects occur, you should stop taking the drug and consult a doctor.

Overdose

Symptoms: taking the drug at doses significantly higher than therapeutic may cause alcohol poisoning.

Treatment: In this case, seek medical advice immediately. When receiving the contents of a whole bottle (100 ml), 16 g of ethyl alcohol gets into the body.

Storage conditions

Store in a dry, dark place at a temperature not exceeding 25 РC.
