Rectally. The suppository is released from the contour packaging, having previously cut it with scissors. Apply 1 supp. 2-3 times a day, the maximum daily dose is 10 supp.

Suppositories with belladonna extract are contraindicated in glaucoma, prostate adenoma.

It is not recommended for use in patients whose activities are associated with the need for a high concentration of attention, quick mental and motor reactions (including driving).

Pharmacodynamics

Antihemorrhoidal agent for topical use. The drug has an analgesic, anticholinergic (antispasmodic) and anti-inflammatory effect, weakens the spasm of the intestinal muscles.

Pharmokinetics

For systemic use: spasms of smooth muscle organs of the gastrointestinal tract, bile and urinary tract, hypersecretory gastritis, gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, pancreatitis, hypersalivation, poisoning with heavy metal salts, m-cholinomimetics, anticholinesterase agents, bronchial obstructive bronchitis, premedchial bronchitis interventions, bradyarrhythmias, AV blockade, prevention of cardiac arrest and bronchospasm during anesthesia.

For topical use in ophthalmology: for the study of the fundus, for the treatment of iritis, iridocyclitis, choroiditis, keratitis, embolism and spasm of the central retinal artery, some eye injuries.

Side effects

With increased sensitivity to the components of the drug and its overdose, dry mouth, thirst, constipation, heart palpitations, dilated pupils and other visual impairments are possible, and in case of poisoning - psychomotor agitation, convulsions, urinary retention. If these signs appear, you should stop using the drug and immediately consult a doctor.

Special conditions

Use with caution in patients with polyneuropathy, hyperthyroidism, coronary artery disease, chronic heart failure, hypertension, kidney disease, diaphragmatic hernia, reflux esophagitis. Long-term use is not recommended for cholelithiasis and nephrolithiasis.

At high ambient temperatures, the use of belladonna may lead to thermal shock.

Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and use mechanisms

It is NOT recommended for patients whose activities require a high concentration of attention, rapid psychomotor reactions.

Drug interactions

Krasavka reduces or eliminates the effect of m-cholinomimetics, anticholinesterase agents.

It potentiates the arrhythmogenic effect of MAO inhibitors, cardiac glycosides, clonidine, the anticholinergic properties of quinidine, novocainamide, the effects of barbiturates, adrenomimetics, antihistamines, tranquilizers.

Forms a sediment with lead acetate, calcium salts, tannin, lily of the valley tincture.
