Lespeflan is used in adults with chronic renal failure of various origins in latent compensated and intermittent stages as part of complex therapy.
Lespeflan is used orally, 5-15 ml (1 teaspoon - 1 tablespoon) 3-4 times a day. It is allowed to dilute the drug with water before use. The course of treatment is 3-4 weeks. A second course of treatment is possible in 2-3 weeks after consulting a doctor.
To prepare 1000 ml of the extract, use:
Lespedets of two-color shoots - 708 g;
Ethanol (ethyl alcohol) 95% - 1210 ml;
Purified water - 680 ml;
Anise oil - 0.7 g.
Hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, liver disease, alcoholism, traumatic brain injury, brain disease, pregnancy, lactation, children under 18 years of age.

Description
Liquid from light brown with an orange tint to reddish brown, with a specific odor. Presence of light sediment during storage is allowed.

Pharmacological properties
Lespeflan is a liquid extract obtained from the shoots of Lespedeza bicolor Lespedeza bicolor (Turcz.) Of the Fabaceae legume family and contains at least 0.05% of flavonoids in terms of luteolin-7-glucoside. The drug has a diuretic, hypoazotemic effect: it enhances glomerular filtration, helps to reduce the concentration of nitrogen metabolism products in the blood, and increases the clearance of nitrogenous compounds (urea, creatinine and uric acid).

Side effects
Allergic reactions are possible, in rare cases - hyponatremia.
Interaction with other medicinal products
Due to the presence of alcohol, the drug should not be prescribed to patients receiving treatment with drugs that depress the central nervous system, insulin, hypoglycemic agents (metformin, sulfonylurea derivatives); drugs that cause alcohol intolerance (disulfiram-like action).
Special instructions
With the development of hyponatremia, it should be compensated for by the administration of sodium preparations.
The maximum daily dose of the drug contains 18.9 g of absolute alcohol, as a result of which a decrease in the speed of psychomotor reactions is possible, which should be taken into account when driving vehicles and work requiring concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.
Release form
Liquid extract for oral administration. 100 ml in orange glass vials with a screw neck, sealed with polyethylene stoppers and plastic screw caps. Each bottle, together with instructions for use, is placed in a cardboard box for consumer packaging.

Shelf life is
4 years. Do not use the drug after the expiration date.
