Pharmacological action

Indications

Burns, purulent wounds, cuts, cracks in the anus; pharyngitis, tonsillitis; inflammatory diseases of the oral cavity (gingivitis, pyorrhea, inflammatory-dystrophic form of periodontal disease) and upper respiratory tract; as part of the combined therapy of gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer, gastritis, diseases of the gallbladder and biliary tract.

Method of administration and dosage

It is applied internally, locally, externally. The dosage regimen is set individually, depending on the indications and dosage form.

Side effects

Allergic reactions; when taken orally, a feeling of bitterness in the mouth, a burning sensation in the epigastric region, and abdominal pain are possible.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to calendula preparations.

Special instructions

For peptic ulcer and gastritis with high acidity, they are used in conjunction with antacids and antispasmodics.
