DESCRIPTION

Mastisept - the drug is used for the prevention and treatment of clinical and subclinical forms of mastitis, abscesses, acute and chronic arthritis, bursitis, tendinitis, articular and muscular rheumatism, osteochondrosis, lymphadenitis, bruises.

COMPOSITION

1.0 g of the preparation contains 0.05 g of camphor, 0.02 g of methyl salicylate, 20 mg of black poplar leaf bud oil, a composition of liquid paraffins (E905) and food colors (E102; E131).

PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES

Mastisept has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, irritating and antiseptic effects with a long-term warming and softening effect.

Pharmacological properties are based on the properties of the ingredients that make up the drug. Due to the ability to dissolve lipids, with entangled resorption, it has an irritating and vasodilating effect, both superficially and in deeper tissues. It improves blood supply and vascular permeability, as a result of which the drainage function in the pathological focus of inflammation is enhanced, which accelerates the elimination of tissue swelling, and also promotes the activation of phagocytosis. Antiseptic properties were determined for S. aureus, Enteroccocus spp., S. Agalactiae, Escherichia coli. The drug stimulates the release of endorphins and enkephalins that act on the central nervous system, causing suppression or relief of pain in areas of inflammation.

Excretion of camphor from the body occurs by diffusion into the blood of regional microcapillaries and entering the lungs with exhaled air for 2-3 days. Excretion of methyl salicylate from the body occurs in the urine.

DOSAGE AND APPLICATION

Mastisept is applied daily (2-3 times a day) to the skin in the area of ​​the pathological process, followed by its intensive rubbing. With serous and catarrhal mastitis, an udder massage is performed. Treatment is carried out until the symptoms of inflammation disappear, on average 2-4 days.

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS

Due to the irritating effect, the drug should not be applied to open wounds, erosive and mucous membranes.

Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed 3 days after the last use of the drug Mastisept. The meat of animals that were forcedly killed before the expiration of the specified period can be used as feed for fur animals. Milk can be used for food purposes 3 days after the last use of the drug.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

The drug is stored according to list B, at a temperature from +8 to +15 В° C in a dry, dark place. Permissible temperature during transportation within 10 days from +25 to -10 В° РЎ.
