Pharmacotherapeutic group

Antispasmodic agent.

Pharmacological properties

Combined drug. It has an antispasmodic effect, reduces gas formation in the intestines.
Alverin is a myotropic antispasmodic, the action of which is not accompanied by an atropine-like effect or ganglion-blocking activity. Reduces the increased tone of intestinal smooth muscles.
Simethicone is a hydrophobic polymeric substance with low surface tension, which reduces gas formation in the intestine and covers the walls of the alimentary canal with a protective film.

Indications for use

Method of administration and dosage

Inside. 1 capsule 2-3 times a day before meals.

In preparation for studies of the abdominal organs - 1 capsule 2-3 times on the eve of the study and 1 capsule in the morning of the study day.

The duration of therapy is determined by the doctor individually.

Side effects

- Rare cases of urticaria that disappear when treatment is stopped, sometimes with laryngeal edema or shock.
- Rare cases of liver dysfunction that disappear when treatment is stopped
