MYKOSTOP cream-paste is specially formulated to cleanse the nail plates and remove the nails affected by fungus or their areas.

MYKOSTOP lotion is designed to restore and protect the nail plate damaged by fungal infection (onychomycosis).

It is used in cases where the affected area is 1/2 or less of the nail plate.

The mechanism of action of MIKOSTOP lotion is based on the ability to penetrate into the thickness of the nail plate and, thanks to lactic acid, lower the pH level in the nail, thereby creating an acidic environment that is detrimental to the life of the fungus, as well as to spread the infection to healthy nails.

Organic acids such as lactic acid and others are well-known compounds capable of interfering with the growth and reproduction of microorganisms, including fungal pathogens.

Dermatomycetes - fungal pathogens are sensitive to low pH values, i.e.

to an acidic environment, and at a pH level of less than 4.0, the growth and reproduction of fungi stop

This effect has been confirmed for all fungi that cause nail fungus.

1. Apply cream paste to the affected nail and spread in a thick layer so that the paste does not come into contact with the skin. 2. Put a thin layer of cotton wool on top of the paste. 3. Apply a cruciform bandage using a 2-2.5cm wide patch, first apply the patch along your finger. Then across the finger, so that the overlap area falls on the nail. 4. After 2 days, remove the bandage and remove the softened layer of the nail with a scraper or file. Before taking water treatments, remove the bandage, and reapply the bandage after water treatments. Repeat the procedure until the nail bed is completely cleansed of the nail changed by the fungus. Before the first application of the lotion, it is necessary to remove the affected part of the nail as much as possible. Apply one drop of lotion to the surface of the nail and distribute evenly with the nose of the bottle over the entire surface, as well as along the cut edge of the nail.
