Constipation due to hypotension and sluggish motility of the colon.
Stool regulation for hemorrhoids, proctitis, anal fissures;
spastic and atonic constipation of various etiologies.
Senadexin is taken at bedtime.
Adults and children over 12 years old: 1-2 tablets. If there is no effect, the dosage of the drug is increased to 3 tablets per dose (a few days after the first dose). Children 1-6 years old are prescribed 1/3 of the tablet. Children 6-12 years old - half the adult dosage.

Description
Tablets are round, flat-cylindrical, beveled and scored, from grayish-brown to brown in color with darker and lighter blotches with a weak characteristic odor.
pharmachologic effect
Herbal laxative. Senna leaves contain dianthrone glycosides (about 3%) - sennosides A, A1, BG; a small amount of anthraquinone glycosides, incl. aloe-emodin and rhein 8-glycosides; about 10% mucus; flavonoids, incl. camferol derivatives; naphthalene glycosides.
Stimulates colon peristalsis, causes normal stools 8-10 hours after ingestion. Selectively affects the colon, restores normal bowel function, is non-addictive and does not affect digestion.
Side effect
Possibly: flatulence, colicky abdominal pain.
With prolonged use, especially in high doses, - loss of electrolytes (mainly potassium), albuminuria and hematuria, deposition of melanin in the intestinal mucosa, damage to the intermuscular plexus.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
Use with caution during pregnancy and lactation.

Use with caution in liver diseases.

Use with caution in kidney disease.
