Hold the base with your thumb and hold the nozzle of the dispenser between your middle and forefinger. Insert the nozzle of the dosing device into the nasal passage in a vertical upward position. Press the nozzle once. The drug is administered intranasally (into the nose) in doses:
Adults - 1 dose (one injection) into each nasal passage 2 times / day for 10 days for therapeutic purposes or for 3-5 days for prophylactic purposes.
Children aged 1 to 6 years - 1 dose in one nasal passage 1 time / day, from 7 to 14 years old - 1 dose in each nasal passage 1 time / day. The drug is used for 10 days for therapeutic purposes or for 3-5 days for prophylactic purposes.
A repeated course of the drug TimogenЃ is carried out no earlier than 1 month later. The drug should be taken only according to the method of administration and in the doses indicated in the instructions. If necessary, the patient should consult a doctor before taking the drug.
Dosed nasal spray in the form of a colorless, transparent liquid; the presence of a characteristic smell of benzalkonium chloride is allowed.

pharmachologic effect
It has a regulating effect on the reactions of cellular, humoral immunity and nonspecific resistance of the organism. Stimulates regeneration processes if they are suppressed. Improves the course of cellular metabolic processes. It enhances the expression of differentiation receptors on lymphocytes, normalizes the number of T-helpers, cytotoxic T-lymphocytes and their ratio in patients with various immunodeficiency states.
Pharmacokinetics
The drug quickly enters the systemic circulation after intranasal administration. Alpha-glutamyl-tryptophan sodium under the influence of peptidases is cleaved into L-glutamic acid and L-tryptophan, which are involved in peptide synthesis in the body.
Side effect
Possibly: allergic rhinitis. If the patient develops side effects, incl. not specified in the instructions, he needs to consult a doctor.
Application during pregnancy and lactation
Due to insufficient clinical data, taking the drug during pregnancy and during breastfeeding is possible only as directed by a doctor, if the intended benefit to the mother outweighs the potential risk to the fetus or child.
Application in children
Contraindication: children under 1 year of age.

The drug does not adversely affect the ability to drive vehicles and engage in other potentially hazardous activities that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions.
Overdose
Symptoms: profuse secretion of the secretion of the nasal mucosa, which stops after discontinuation of the drug. Treatment: not required. In case of accidental ingestion of the drug, it is necessary to rinse the stomach with water and immediately consult a doctor.
Drug interactions
Increases the effectiveness of chemotherapy drugs (cytostatic, antibacterial drugs) and radiation therapy. It is not recommended to use it simultaneously with GCS in high doses due to the fact that the immunosuppressive effect of these drugs in high doses levels the immunostimulating effect of alpha-glutamyl-tryptophan.
