Pharmacological action

Troxevasin Neo is a combined preparation for external use. The action is due to its ingredients:

Troxerutin - an angioprotective agent. It has P-vitamin activity: it has venotonic, venoprotective, decongestant, Dexpanthenol promotes the regeneration of damaged tissues and improves heparin absorption.

Pharmacokinetics

When applied topically, the active substances are rapidly absorbed by the skin.

Heparin accumulates in the upper layers and actively binds to skin proteins. For external use, a small amount of heparin enters the systemic circulation, without exerting a systemic effect, without causing any changes in blood coagulation parameters. It does not cross the placental barrier.

Dexpanthenol penetrates into all layers of the skin and turns into pantothenic acid, binds to plasma proteins (mainly beta-globulin and albumin). Pantothenic acid is not metabolized in the body and is excreted unchanged.

Troxerutin in 30 minutes is found in the dermis, and after 2-5 hours in the subcutaneous fat. The penetration of troxerutin into the systemic circulation is clinically insignificant.

Indications

Composition of

1 g of gel contains:

Active ingredients: troxerutin 20 mg, dexpanthenol 50 mg, sodium heparin 1.7 mg (corresponds to 300 IU)

Excipients: carbomer 7 mg, propylene glycol 100 mg, methyl parahydroxybenzoate 0.8 mg, propyl parahydroxybenzoate 0.2 mg, trolamine 4.2 mg, purified water to 1 g

Dosage and administration

Outwardly!

The gel is applied to the affected area 2 times a day in the morning and in the evening, gently rubbing until completely absorbed. If necessary, the gel can be applied under bandages or elastic stockings.

The success of treatment with a drug largely depends on its regular use for a long time.

Recommended in combination with troxevasin capsules to enhance exposure.

Side effects

Possible: allergic reactions, erosive-ulcerative lesions of the gastrointestinal tract, headache.

Drug Interaction

No interaction of Troxevazine Neo with other medicinal products has been detected.

Overdose

Overdose is unlikely due to the low systemic absorption of the active components of the gel.
