Tsunami Combi 1kg
DESCRIPTION
The Tsunami Combi rodenticidal agent is a ready-to-use bait in the form of a paraffin-containing dough-grain tablet (block, briquette, granules, grain bait) of yellow, orange, purple, green or other bright color.
COMPOSITION
The bait contains as an active ingredient brodifacum - 0.005%, the first generation anticoagulant warfarin - 0.005%. The composition of the product also includes an organophosphate insecticide fenthion - 0.05%, a flavoring agent, an antioxidant, paraffin, an attractant, a food base (flour, grain), as well as a dye and bitterness (bitrex), which protects the agent from being eaten by birds, necessary to prevent accidental poisoning human and domestic animals.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
The agent has high rodenticidal activity for rats and mice. The eatability of the bait is: 40.5% of the daily diet of rats and 46.2% of mice. The death of rats and mice is 100% and occurs on days 4-10 (8.3 days on average) of rats and on days 6-13 (9.1 days on average) of mice.
According to the parameters of acute toxicity in accordance with GOST 12.1.007-76 and the Classification of toxicity and danger of rodenticides when administered into the stomach and applied to the skin, the 'Tsunami Combi' agent belongs to the 4th class of low-hazard substances. A little dangerous when inhaled. The local irritant effect on the skin is not pronounced with a single exposure and is weakly expressed with repeated exposure. The agent has a weak local irritant effect on the mucous membranes of the eye. Skin resorptive action has not been established. Has no sensitizing effect.
It has an extremely high cumulative activity (CCum <1), which makes it dangerous if it is systematically ingested into the body.
The toxic characteristics of the drug are determined by the properties of the DV - brodifacum and warfarin.
Brodifacum belongs to the 1st class of extremely hazardous substances according to GOST 12.1.007-76. It has a pronounced cumulative effect (Kkum <1), after repeated application to the skin, it exhibits a skin-resorptive effect, local irritating properties are weakly expressed.
Warfarin belongs to the 2nd class of highly hazardous substances according to GOST 12.1.007-76. It is a cumulative substance for rodents (Kkum = 0.26). It has a skin-resorptive effect. Slightly irritating to the mucous membrane of the eyes. Does not have an irritating effect when applied to the skin, there is evidence of embryotoxic action. In terms of volatility in the form of vapors, warfarin is low-hazard, and in the form of dust it belongs to the I class of extremely hazardous substances according to GOST 12.1.007-76.
Fenthion belongs to the 2nd class of highly hazardous substances according to GOST 12.1.007-76. The cumulative properties are moderately expressed (Kkum = 3.7). Has a weak irritant effect when applied to the skin and mucous membranes of the eyes. A weakly pronounced skin-resorptive effect was established. Sensitizing, mutagenic, carcinogenic and embryotoxic effects have not been established.
The maximum concentration limit for brodifacum in the air of the working area is 0.01 mg / m3, (aerosol, hazard class 1 with a mark, skin protection is required).
MPC of warfarin in the air of the working area - 0.001 mg / m3 (aerosol) - 1 hazard class.
Fenthion SHOE in the air of the working area is 0.3 mg / m3 (vapors + aerosols) - hazard class 3; ADI - 0.0005 mg / kg.
PURPOSE
Means Tsunami kombi is designed to combat gray, black rats, house mice, voles and other mouse-like rodents by the professional contingent in the practice of medical deratization, as well as the population in everyday life, strictly in accordance with the consumer label.
The tool is used in built-up and undeveloped areas of settlements, as well as in open areas adjacent to the buildings of a settlement, at objects of various categories, including industrial, food, sewer networks, basements, cellars, underground structures; in living quarters, for children (in places inaccessible to children or in their absence, with the exception of bedrooms and playrooms) and medical institutions (including wards of medical institutions during periods of absence of patients), in warehouses for storing agricultural products, as well as in natural centers - focal infections.
MODE OF APPLICATION
The bait is placed in previously identified habitats of rodents: on the paths of their movement, along walls, partitions, near burrows, laying out in dry places under shelters (cabinets, equipment, etc.) in adapted containers (bait boxes, drainage pipes, trays, boxes, etc.) etc.) or in special containers. The latter are preferable because increase the eatability of the product, preventing it from being taken away by rodents, and also complicate access to the bait for non-target species of animals.
The agent is laid out in 50-100 g from rats and 20-30 g from mice.
The distance between the bait placement points is 2-15 m, depending on the clutter of the premises and the number of rodents. Portions of baits from mice are laid out more often than from rats, placing them throughout the entire volume of the premises.
The product (due to the paraffin content) can be on the object for a long time. The laid out bait is examined for the first 1-2 days after laying, and then with an interval of 1 week. The portions eaten are replaced with new ones. Portions left untouched by rats or mice for more than a week are transferred to other places visited by rodents.
Contaminated or spoiled bait is replaced with a new one. Work continues until the disappearance of rodents.
The corpses of rodents, and at the end of the work - the remains of the bait and containers from under it are collected for subsequent burial.
The bait can be left in places favorable for habitat and movement of rodents in order to prevent their possible introduction and increase in numbers. In this case, observations must be carried out at least 2 times a month.
PRECAUTIONS
Work with the Tsunami Combi rodenticidal agent must be carried out in accordance with SP 3.5.3.1129-02 Sanitary and Epidemiological Requirements for Deratization, Order of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation of 03/14/1996 No. 90, 'Rules for Labor Protection of Disinfection Workers' only to trained personnel who have passed special instruction, with strict adherence to precautions. Persons under the age of 18 and suffering from blood and liver diseases are not allowed to work.
All manipulations with baits are carried out in overalls (dressing gown, hat) and rubber gloves. Avoid getting bait into mouth, eyes and skin.

When working with the bait, do not smoke, drink or eat. At the end of work, wash your hands and face with warm water and soap.
The bait in places where it is laid out should be out of reach of children and pets. The management and personnel of the treated object should be informed about the presence of rodenticide, precautions and the degree of toxicity.
The bait placement points should be numbered, which allows you to control the placement of the bait.
The remains of the bait unsuitable for eating at the end of the deratization work should be removed and the object should be cleaned and the remains of the decomposed bait should be carefully removed at the end of the deratization work.
When processing children's, medical and food objects, special precautions must be taken with special care. Bait placement is allowed only in bait houses.
The collected animal carcasses and residues of the product are disposed of in accordance with the existing legislation. The disposal rules are set out in the document: Sanitary and epidemiological requirements for deratization (SanPin 3.5.3.1129-02, p. 5.7.): It is necessary to bury it in the ground at a depth of at least 0.5 m (far from water bodies and water supply sources) or burn open air (or in a boiler room). It is forbidden to throw the remains of the bait into trash cans and bodies of water.
Do not allow the bait to get into water bodies and other sources of water supply, into waste (surface) or groundwater and into the sewage system. The bait is highly toxic to aquatic organisms.
