Pharmacological action

Increases the specific reactivity of the body (stimulates the production of antibodies with a neutralizing, opsonic and protective effect).

Indications

In adults: gonorrhea infection (as part of complex therapy) after unsuccessful antibiotic therapy with sluggish recurrence, with fresh torpid and chronic forms of the disease, for men with complicated and women with ascending gonorrhea (after the abatement of acute inflammatory phenomena)

diagnosis of gonorrhea (examination for gonorrhea in patients with chronic diseases of the genitourinary organs, establishing the cure of gonorrhea).

In children from 3 years of age:

gonorrhea infection (as part of complex therapy) after unsuccessful antibiotic therapy with sluggish recurrence, with fresh torpid and chronic forms of the disease

Use during pregnancy and lactation

The safety of this medicine during pregnancy and lactation has not been investigated in controlled clinical trials. Therefore, the drug is used as prescribed by the doctor, taking into account the ratio of the expected benefits to the mother and the possible risk to the fetus and child.

Composition of

1 ml of the preparation contains:

Active substance: suspension of inactivated gonococcal culture - 10 IU (international units) of the standard turbidity sample.

Excipients: sodium chloride - 9 mg phenol - preservative - 2.5 mg water for injection up to 1 ml.

Dosage and administration

The vaccine is administered intramuscularly in the upper outer quadrant of the buttock with pre- and post-injection treatment of the injection site with 70% ethanol. The drug administered must have body temperature.

Shake the ampoule with vaccine before putting it into the syringe to obtain a uniform suspension. The drug in an opened ampoule is not subject to storage.

In case of gonorrhea infection: Adults are given injections at intervals of 1-2 days depending on the reaction. The initial dose of the vaccine is 0.3 - 0.4 ml (for complicated gonorrhea, the use of the vaccine should start with 0.2 - 0.3 ml).

At a temperature of no more than 36.9 РC, the dose of the vaccine each time increases by 0.3 ml, the administration interval is 1 day.

When the temperature rises (less than 1, 5 РC from normal) the dose of the vaccine each time increases by 0.15 ml, the administration interval is 2 days.

The maximum single dose of the vaccine should not exceed 2.0 ml.

The vaccine is administered 1 time / day.

Duration of treatment is up to 6 - 8 injections.

In children older than 3 years, injections are carried out at intervals of 1-2 days depending on the reaction.

The initial dose of the vaccine is 0.05 - 0.1 ml.

At a temperature of not more than 36.9 РC, the dose of the vaccine each time increases by 0.05 ml, the administration interval is 1 day.

With an increase in temperature (less than 1.5 РC from normal), the dose of the vaccine each time increases by 0.025 ml, the administration interval is 2 days.

The maximum single dose of the vaccine should not exceed 0.5 ml.

The vaccine is administered 1 time / day.

Duration of treatment is up to 6-8 injections.

In the diagnosis of gonorrhea:

To establish the cure of gonorrhea, as well as when examining patients with chronic diseases of the urogenital organs for gonorrhea, 0.5 ml of the vaccine is administered as a provocation. If the vaccine was used during treatment, then the last doubled therapeutic dose, but not more than 2.0 ml, is prescribed for provocation.

Side effects

The general reaction is manifested by malaise, fever up to 39, 0 РC within 24 - 48 hours from the moment of the vaccine administration, headache, focal general weakness - increased secretions, tenderness in the affected organs, local urine clouding - pain in the injection area.

For complications (allergicimmediate reactions: anaphylactic shock, Quincke's edema, urticaria) symptomatic therapy should be carried out.
