Glucosamine and chondroitin are chondroprotective substances that protect joints by improving metabolism and blood supply to cartilage tissue. To protect joints from wear and tear, destruction and age-related changes, it is necessary to take glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate in addition, in combination with vitamins and minerals.
Chondroitin sulfate is a high molecular weight polysaccharide of the proteoglycan group, which is part of the cartilage molecule. Pharmacokinetic studies carried out on humans and experimental animals have shown that this substance is well adsorbed and detected.
- Promotes an increase in the synthesis of hyaluronic acid.
-Has a beneficial effect on suppressing the inflammatory process.
-Improves microcirculation of blood in the bone under the joint.
-Increases the synthesis of collagen (the main connecting element of bone tissue).
Glucosamine is the initial product for the synthesis of proteoglycans, it is artificially obtained by hydrolysis and deacetylation of chitin, an element that is part of the shells of crustaceans.
-Acts as a symptomatic delayed-action agent, has a good tolerance and safety profile.
-Reduces or completely relieves joint pain.
- Delays the rate of progression of osteoarthritis.
-Stabilizes negative changes in damaged joints and prevents them in healthy ones.
-Improves the function of the joints.
-Stimulates the formation of the connective matrix.
-Reduces the activity of catabolic enzymes in the cartilage, inhibits the synthesis of nitric oxide, promotes the synthesis of chondroitinsulfuric acid.
In the body of an adult, glucosamine is not produced, therefore, its reserves must be regularly replenished.
Methylsulfonylmethane is a bioavailable source of sulfur, which has a positive effect on the strengthening of cartilage, muscles and bones. Found in small amounts in some foods and beverages.
With age, its content in the human body decreases, and its digestibility decreases. As a result, the incidence of arthritis and arthrosis increases.
-Promotes the prevention and treatment of osteoarthritis, other infectious and inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
-It has an effect on the formation of immunoglobulins, which fight the cause of the inflammatory process.
-Increases the strength and elasticity of the ligaments, reducing the likelihood of injury.
-Takes part in the synthesis of protein - the main 'building material' of muscles, cartilage and ligaments, providing the 'amortization' function of the joints.
-Necessary for collagen formation.
Boswellia extract.
Boswellia serrata, or Indian incense, is a tree widespread in India and Southeast Asia. It produces an aromatic, resinous liquid that thickens and hardens in the air. Boswellia resin has been used in traditional Indian medicine as an anti-inflammatory agent for more than three thousand years.
-The extract obtained from it has an anti-inflammatory effect, similar to that of NSAIDs, but without the inherent side effects.
Vitamin C (ascorbic acid)
-Actively participates in collagen synthesis. Essential for the absorption of chondroitin and glucosamine.
-It is involved in the processes associated with tissue regeneration and renewal.
-Protects cartilage tissue from degradation by free radicals, acting as an antioxidant.
Manganese.
-Necessary for the functioning of enzymes involved in the biosynthesis of chondroitin.
-Activates the biosynthesis of glycosaminoglycans, which are part of the intercellular substance of the connective tissue. These two functions of manganese are unique: they cannot be replaced by other micro and macro elements.
