DESCRIPTION
Wormwood tincture - to normalize digestion processes, restore and improve appetite.
COMPOSITION
As active ingredients, it contains sesquiterpene lactones - 0.6% and an auxiliary substance - ethyl alcohol 64-70% - up to 100%.
PHARMACOLOGICAL PROPERTIES
Wormwood tincture belongs to the group of herbal medicines for the normalization of digestion processes.
Sesquiterpene lactones included in the preparation are bitter glycosides or bitters. With the internal use of the bitterness preparation, irritating the taste nerve endings, reflexively through the central nervous system and autonomic innervation increase the salivation, secretion of gastric juice, pancreatic juice and bile, which helps to improve blood supply, restore motility, secretion, enzymatic activity and intestinal absorption capacity.
According to the degree of impact on the body, wormwood tincture according to GOST 12.1.007-76 refers to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4).
DOSAGE AND APPLICATION
The drug is administered orally 1-2 times a day for 1-4 days in the following doses (doses of the pure drug):
cattle (adult) 4.0-8.0 ml per head
calves up to 6 months 2.0-4.0 ml per head
sheep, goats 0.2-1.0 ml per head
Before use Wormwood tincture is diluted with water for drinking in a ratio of 1: 5-1: 10.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
In case of an overdose of the drug, the animal may experience hypersalivation, increased frequency of bowel movements and urination. These symptoms are short-lived and do not require the use of therapeutic agents.
There is no information on the incompatibility of Wormwood Tincture with other drugs and feed additives.
Products of animal origin obtained from animals after the application of Wormwood Tincture in accordance with this instruction is used without restrictions.
PERSONAL PREVENTION MEASURES
When working with Wormwood Tincture, you should follow the general rules of personal hygiene and safety precautions provided when working with medicines.
In case of accidental contact of the drug with the skin or mucous membranes of the eyes, they must be rinsed with plenty of water. People with hypersensitivity to the drug components should avoid direct contact with wormwood tincture. In case of allergic reactions or accidental ingestion of the drug into the human body, you should immediately contact a medical institution (you should have instructions for use of the drug or a label with you).
Empty vials from under the medicinal product must not be used for domestic purposes, they must be disposed of with household waste.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
A contraindication to the use of the drug is the increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug (including a history).
SIDE EFFECTS
As a rule, no side effects and complications are observed when using Wormwood Tincture in accordance with this instruction. In case of increased individual sensitivity of the animal to the components of the drug and the appearance of allergic reactions, its use is stopped and, if necessary, antihistamines are prescribed to the animal.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE
Store the wormwood tincture in the manufacturer's sealed packaging, in a dry place protected from direct sunlight, separately from food and feed, at a temperature from 0 В° C to 25 В° C.
The shelf life of the drug, subject to storage conditions, is 3 years from the date of production. It is forbidden to use Wormwood Tincture after the expiration date.
